Hi, I’m Spring, a mindfulness-based wellness coach for women over 40.
As a mindfulness-based wellness coach and certified holistic nutritionist for women over 40, I feel passionate about helping women thrive through midlife, embracing a new lifestyle of wellness.
My programs are built on the transformative power of mindfulness and small, strategic changes—because I’ve experienced firsthand how these micro-shifts drive lasting change.
I guide clients through a wellness approach that integrates mindfulness, plant-forward nutrition, and intentional movement to help women navigate midlife with vitality and confidence.
My journey is proof of what’s possible. In my mid-40s, I was blindsided by the sudden onset of midlife changes—weight gain, sluggish energy, mood swings, joint pain, and restless nights. The health strategies that once worked for me were failing, and I knew I had two choices: surrender to frustration or redefine my approach.
I chose to embark on a mission to uncover exactly what my midlife body needed—and now, I empower others to do the same.

I learned everything I could about women at midlife.
I did a deep dive into the research. I studied the intricate relationship between hormones, body composition, and metabolism changes at midlife, and discovered the surprising impact of hormones changes like cortisol on energy, mood, sleep, weight loss, and overall quality of life. I also explored how aging impacts alcohol metabolism, and how alcohol impacts the aging process in general.
I discovered the transformative power of whole foods and plant-heavy nutrition in healing the body, while enhancing vitality and longevity. I analyzed midlife movement to identify the most effective strategies for weight management and muscle development. My research into the power of mindfulness and its affect on holistic wellness led me to create unique programs for lasting change.
Ultimately I pursued high-level certifications in mindfulness, nutrition, health coaching, and yoga. Along the way, I became my own first client.
At age 50- I lost 65 pounds in 8 months, and I’ve never felt better.
When I started this journey to reclaim my energy, health, and sense of purpose, I didn’t know my life’s calling would change, but it did. I discovered the profound power of making small, intentional changes, and I knew I wanted to help more women do the same. It was such a relief to feel renewed excitement about life again; I was ready to share what I had learned with the world.
The birth of Mindful Gnome Wellness
My life-changing journey inspired me to create Mindful Gnome Wellness, a space where women aged 40-65 can find support, guidance, and tools to navigate midlife with confidence and ease.

I’m passionate about helping women learn mindfulness tools to navigate midlife with confidence and ease. As a high school U.S. history teacher for more than 25 years, guiding others has always been my thing. I’m grateful to be guiding a community of women striving to live their best lives.
When I’m not helping women, I’m out and about with my two adorable dogs, Jack and Bodhi, taking a hot yoga class, hiking, doing a puzzle, or watching a movie. I love traveling the world, most recently visiting Antarctica— which was quite the adventure!
My family is also very important to me. I’m an older sister, and an auntie to my two awesome nephews that keep me young at heart. I also have a strong circle of friends who feel like family!
As an adventurer, I’ve lived and taught in the Middle East for 8 years and have traveled to all seven continents—but my favorite place now is my morning coffee quiet space. I’m an avid early riser and since I’ve transformed my life, I find true happiness right where I am—in the present moment.
